What's it about?

We & Now We. We begins with two. A family, a band. A nation and the entire planet. For the musicians of Federspiel, we is more than just a count. We encompasses the knowledge and ideas of all generations before us. We here and now are only the youngest in an endless series of annual rings, each of which has its own story to tell. And that brings us to the present. For the seven musicians, this means: the right commitment, the right timing, and the magic of the moment of each performance. Because this narrow strip between the past and the future is the only scope we have. We as artists, as humans, as humanity. Only in the now are we. Only in the now can we act, move things and people. These ideas have inspired Federspiel for their new program: We and Now. It sets to music the big questions of our time. It is a call to address the urgent problems of our planet together and immediately.
