MusicalSommer - Saturday Night Fever

Sunday 2 August · 00:00Festung Kufstein · tirol

What's it about?

In recent years, the MusicalSommer at Kufstein Fortress has developed into a true highlight in the event calendar of Kufstein's summer and will go into its 18th round in 2026. In case of postponement, please check the homepage www.musicalsommer.tirol by the day after the cancelled performance at the latest. The list of possible alternative dates can be found directly here: Alternative dates How to get to Kufstein Fortress: On foot: The venue is quickest and easiest to reach on all performance days, and also free of charge, via an asphalt road, the Kaiserjägerweg (only three minutes from the town square). We expressly recommend this approx. 10-minute walk, which also offers a wonderful view of the imposing fortress. Panorama train and lift: In addition to walking, it is also possible to use the panorama train or the lift. Both municipal transport options can be used at a special price of EUR 2,- per person upon presentation of a Musicalsommer admission ticket valid on the respective event day. Tickets for the lift or panorama train can be purchased on site at the lift ticket office and are valid for ascent and descent. Ascent to the fortress is possible one hour before the start of the performance with both the panorama train and the lift, but descent is only possible with the lift. Please note: Neither the lift nor the train lead directly to the venue. The path from the exit of the lift or the panorama train to the venue is steeply sloping and takes significantly more time in total than walking to get to the venue. Furthermore, due to the limited transport capacities of the train and lift, waiting times may occur. The event area is only open one hour before the start of the performance. Bringing dogs, strollers and drinks is prohibited, as is smoking in the stands and in passages to the stands. Children are only allowed to enter from the age of five. For safety reasons, the authorities prohibit bringing drinks, bottles, containers and other liquids into the fortress area! Visitors may bring non-alcoholic drinks up to a maximum of 0.3 liters in plastic bottles; for safety / official reasons, no glass or thermos bottles.
