The Gairer Sommerfasching in 2026 will be: Hawaii in Gai! 61 years ago, a carnival took place for the first and only time in the middle of summer in St. Gertraudi. The Gairer Faschingsgilde "Dachtei - Dachtei" is therefore organizing another "Gairer Sommerfasching" on Saturday, August 8, at 8:08 PM at Gasthaus Kammerlander in St. Gertraudi, under the motto "Hawaii im Gai". With party music from DJs Lumpi & Pumpi, you can enjoy Pina Colada and Mai Tai Gai, participate in the flamingo race, watch the world's smallest float parade during the carnival procession, and even take a foam bath in the pool. Admission is free, and all costumed guests receive a free welcome drink. The Faschingsgilde "Dachtei Dachtei" looks forward to seeing many jesters! Look forward to cool drinks, a Tiki Bar, Limbo Contest, Hawaiian dance performances, and music for dancing. Admission is free.
