Our guided hike leads you along the Copper Ore Trail up to the historic Berghaus/Knappenhaus – a place where the hard life of the miners once pulsed. Along the way, you will discover traces of mining that date back to the Copper Age and prehistory: old dumps, mysterious adit entrances, and the disused open-pit mine. At the Kramstollen, you will gain exciting insights into earlier ore extraction, while standing at the remains of the Georgi-Unterbau-Anlage and imagining the immense work of the miners. Another highlight: the archaeological finds near Kropfsberg Castle, which offer fascinating insights into the life and economy of past centuries.
