Anras Brass - powerful brass sounds that unite tradition and passion in every note. More than 30 years have passed since the first rehearsal in April 1992; limbs are slowly aching, gait is no longer as elegant and light-footed, hair is saying goodbye at different speeds, and Tom Waits' "I don't wanna grow up" takes on an unwanted meaning for the inner child. But one thing hasn't changed: the fire and passion for good music, preferably on brass instruments: trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba. The range is impressive: classical, baroque, jazz, blues & swing, folk music. The lightness of being and routine (which cannot be bought) make the ensemble a flagship of the East Tyrolean brass scene. Ensemble members: Johann Fronthaler . Wilfried Kollreider . Martin Gietl .
