Schloss Tratzberg

Tratzberg Castle in Jenbach - approx. 60 minutes by car (approx. 75 km) from the Pillersee Valley. The jewel among Austria's castles was built in 1500 high above the Inn Valley and served as a hunting lodge for Emperor Maximilian I and the Fuggers. Exquisitely furnished and richly expanded during the Renaissance, the castle has been the private residence of the Counts Enzenberg since 1848. Special children's tours!
