What's it about?

The 26th IML 3-Day Unicorn March takes place from September 18 to 20, 2026, in the Seefeld region. For three days, the high plateau of Tyrol is the setting for a hike along the most impressive sites of the region, fostering friendships and enjoying nature. The Unicorn March is part of the international IML - Folk March series. Besides hiking, the event emphasizes the unifying aspect: an international field of participants from various cultures, age groups, and fitness levels marches alongside military groups from different countries — all without time or performance pressure. Children are also warmly welcome; participants up to 10 years old can join the hikes free of charge. In addition to the highly sought-after IML awards, this year's Unicorn March offers new routes and attractions as part of the adventure hike, which are anything but ordinary. Each day features routes of 10, 20, 30, or 42 kilometers to choose from.
