The Leutascher FischereiThe fishing rights for Lake Weidachsee and the Leutascher Ache are currently owned by Mr. Angerer. He operates a quality fish farm recognized by the Chamber of Agriculture and specializes in the production of stocking and edible trout. Brown trout, rainbow trout, and brook char are bred. "Fischrösterei" (fish smokehouse) - we are happy to grill your catch on site for you.Beautifully situated, you have the opportunity to fish here from early April to the end of October without prior registration for a small entrance fee. A fishing license is not required, which is why the fishing pond is also very popular with beginners. If you don't have your own equipment, you can simply rent some. The lake is also excellent for fly fishermen, as fishing is done from a 400 m long wooden pier.Rules for fishingPlease observe the applicable rules for fishing on Lake Weidachsee. Also, inform yourself about the regulations for fishing with children and comply with them. You can find the information here.OPENING HOURS: from April 1st to November 1st, Tuesday to Sunday from 07:00 to 19:00! Monday is a rest day, except on public holidays when it remains open. Nestled in this winter landscape lies Lake Weidachsee at 1123 m. Here, holes are drilled into the thickly frozen ice surface for fishing, where fishermen can try their luck with a short ice rod.Cafeteria and FischladeleIn winter, the small cafeteria with an open fireplace attracts visitors, where freezing ice fishermen can warm up with mulled wine and homemade hot drinks after a successful catch. In summer, you can relax wonderfully on the spacious sun terrace while observing the fishing activities from a shady distance.If you like to eat fish but don't want to fish yourself, you can stock up on fresh trout and char in the farm shop.Please note, this is not a swimming lake!
