A simple name ignites a heated discussion that quickly brings old conflicts, wounded vanities, and long-kept secrets to light. With sharp wit, pointed dialogues, and accurate observation, "Der Vorname" paints a picture of a bourgeois circle where seemingly harmless words lead to an emotional exchange of blows - funny, clever, and revealing all at once.
