Innsbruck, Tyrol
In 1902, 100 years ago, a theater was created between Innrain and Anichstraße from a former bicycle hall. It was equipped with 500 seats, a large stage, and a restaurant. Various groups and small groups, Volksbühnen (people's theaters) and those with other objectives found their home there. They tried to convey culture and politics packaged in stage plays. Throughout all these years, the Leobühne team has strived to play and live varied theater to delight the audience. 100 years of Leobühne are a reason to celebrate, for us, the actors, but of course also for you, our audience.
