What's it about?

The tomb of Emperor Maximilian I in the Innsbruck Court Church is one of the most important monuments of the Renaissance north of the Alps. The focus of the tour is the unique ensemble of bronze figures, the famous 'Black Men'. Together with the cenotaph and its marble reliefs, they create an impressive image reflecting Maximilian's ideas of rule, remembrance, and posthumous glory.
