Lesung Vea Kaiser - "Blasmusikpop oder Wie die Wissenschaft in die Berge kam"

What's it about?

A 14.8-meter-long fish tapeworm, a soapbox heading for the moon, an unexpectedly attractive monk in a Jaguar, a falling angel, a pregnant village princess, an ancient philological secret society, a Nordic-walking mother’s group, a young footballer with a good heart, a sinister conspiracy of the village elders, and lots of pop brass music are part of the unforgettable microcosm of this novel, which impresses with its attention to luminous details and quirky events, its narrative fervor, and its polyphony.
