Guided Hike: Above the Roofs of Kaprun 'Der Maiskogel'

12.06.-25.09.2026 EVERY FRIDAY | 09:30 AM Kaprun's local mountain offers an optimal opportunity for the whole family to get their bearings in the area: whether sporty or completely relaxed, there is something for everyone here. Ascent with the Maiskogelbahn to 1500 m, after which the interesting circular hike begins. The route leads along forest roads and easy hiking trails to the Dreiwallnerhöhe. From here, in good weather, the view extends from the Großglockner over the mountain giants of the Hohe Tauern to the Zell basin. You will also receive a lot of information about life in the countryside and the connection between nature and technology. On the way back, there is the option to refresh yourself at one of the huts.
