Historical Walk through Bad Gastein with a Visit to the Elisabethquelle

What's it about?

Starting from the Gastein Museum, the path leads you over the waterfall bridge to Straubingerplatz, Bad Gastein's historic main square. Where spa guests once arrived by horse-drawn mail coach, this square now shines again in its old glory with the Grand Hotel Straubinger and the oldest stone hotel building, the Badeschloss. The walk now goes through the thermal spring park and thematically from the discovery of the healing springs to today's spa town. The tour ends with a highlight: a visit to the early Gothic Nikolauskirche. The walk is conducted exclusively in German. IN GERMAN ONLY!!
