BERG-GESUND Mountain Tour to the Frauenkogel

What's it about?

Climb one of the most beautiful peaks in the Großarltal - these impressive hikes are sure to remain long in memory. From the Aktiv-Treffpunkt at the Bergbahnen car park, a hiking taxi takes you to the Hinterfeld farm in Hüttschlag. A forest road leads to the Harbachalm. After a short rest at the alm, we continue to the Tofernalm. We reach the Tofernscharte via blooming alpine meadows, from there we continue in serpentines to the Gamskarkogel (2,467 m). We strengthen ourselves at the Gamskarkogelhütte before continuing along the ridge until we reach the Frauenkogel (2,424 m). We descend to the Bachalm, which we will reach in the afternoon. After a leisurely stop, we go down a forest road to the Brandenberg farm in Großarl. Registration: until 5:00 PM the day before here
