What's it about?

JO Xund & Fit | Every Thursday Klammtour - Hike to and through the Liechtensteinklamm Together with your hiking guide Vanessa, you hike along the forest trail from Alpendorf down to the Liechtensteinklamm. During the hike, Vanessa will not only share exciting details about the formation of the gorge but also interesting information about its discovery history and the role of the Prince of Liechtenstein, after whom the gorge is named. Vanessa also explains how the elaborate infrastructure—including walkways, bridges, and the spectacular helix staircase—must be constantly maintained to keep the gorge accessible to visitors safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. The narrow gorge already impresses at the entrance with its unique atmosphere: rushing water, steep rock walls, and the fascinating play of light and shadow hint at the natural forces at work here. After crossing the gorge, you return to the entrance of the Liechtensteinklamm.
