Prangtag with Festive Church Service and Procession with Prang Staves

What's it about?

The highlight of this so-called solstice day is the festive church service and the subsequent procession through the village with four Gospel stations. During this procession, the colorful "Prangstangen" are carried. These are 6 to 8 meter high wooden poles wrapped with wreaths made of fresh alpine and meadow flowers. Program schedule: June 24: from about 8:30 AM, festive church service / from 9:30 AM, procession with incorporation of the Prangstangen (until about 12:00 PM) / from about 12:30 PM, concert by TMK Zederhaus in the community hall.
