What's it about?

Prangstangenwickeln at the 'Denkmalhof Maurerhaus'. During a guided tour at the Denkmalhof Maurerhaus, you can watch the work on a Prangstange (traditional decorated pole) live. How are the various flowers arranged or how are the patterns on a Prangstange created? All these questions can be answered during a tour at the Denkmalhof Maurerhaus. Annual schedule: June 21-23: Wreath making and Prangstangenwickeln at the Denkmalhof Maurerhaus and at various farms in Zederhaus. June 23: Bringing the Prangstangen into the Zederhaus parish church from around 5:30 PM. June 24: From around 8:30 AM, festive church service / from 9:30 AM, procession with the incorporation of the Prangstangen (until around 12:00 PM). August 15: Herb blessing and returning the Prangstangen to the farms. The beautiful flower-staffs remain displayed in the church until August 15, the 'Hohen Frautag' (High Feast Day), and can be viewed there for everyone.
