The Denkmalhof Maurergut in Zederhaus is a typical Lungau single-homestead farm, meaning that the residential and farm buildings are combined under one roof. The farm was acquired by the municipality of Zederhaus in 1978 and, after extensive renovations, was opened as a memorial farm in 1984. Special exhibitions and various events, such as the Prangstangen binding, enrich the program of the memorial farm. The house has been preserved in its original form and provides a comprehensive insight into rural life of past centuries. It displays living culture and customs of our ancestors, tools, and farm equipment. Notably, it also features tools used by pig butchers, the Schwellenhacker (threshold chopper), and Seilerer (rope maker). The facilities include a mill, a typical Lungau Troadkasten (barn), and a storage cellar. An old Schotterquetsche (quern stone) is also exhibited.
