What's it about?

With expert-guided tour! The more than 500-year-old farmstead offers visitors a comprehensive insight into rural life of past centuries. The monument farm "Maurergut" in the natural park community of Zederhaus is a typical Lungau farmstead, dating back to the late Middle Ages. From 1509 to the present, all owners are documented. In addition to the living room, smoke kitchen, hayloft, and bedrooms, there is also the "Pfeifenberger Stube," dedicated to the native Zederhaus residents — the "Bishop of Lungau" Valentin Pfeifenberger and the athletes Heimo and Rainer Pfeifenberger. A replica of a Zederhaus prayer pole made of silk flowers can also be admired. The farm also includes a mill, a typical Lungau Troadkasten (storage shed), and a storage cellar. The old Zederhaus gravel press is also on display, among many other exhibits.
