What's it about?

Intensive, emotionally complex drama – Film of the Year 2026 Perla lives as a painter and single mother in Vienna exile. Since fleeing from Czechoslovakia, she has been fighting for a free, self-determined life and her daughter's future. Their life together with her new partner is threatened when her former partner Andrej contacts her, and she faces a dangerous decision: a journey to communist Czechoslovakia and the risk of jeopardizing her hard-won future and that of her daughter.
