Guided Tours of the Glockenspiel Tower

What's it about?

Under the helmet of the tower on the west side of the Neue Residenz is the Salzburg Glockenspiel. The Glockenspiel has been playing in Salzburg since 1704. Currently, it features about 40 musical pieces, 16 of which are attributed to Johann Michael Haydn. The pieces by father and son Mozart are arrangements from the 19th century.
