What's it about?

The accessible Parish, Pilgrimage, and Silent Night Museum Mariapfarr is dedicated, among other topics, to Joseph Mohr's time in Lungau and themes of pilgrimage, pilgrims, and peace. In the treasury, treasures from the basilica's possessions are displayed, such as the 'Silver Altar' from 1443. Visitors can also admire a large Christmas nativity scene with around 100 figures from 1750. Admission: €7 for adults, €2 for children (6 to 15 years), €5 for seniors and youth (16 to 19 years).
