What's it about?

... rarely have I heard so many people laugh so heartily! (Organizer) ... it was insane in a positive way, my husband and I had 2 joyful hours and today our muscles are sore from laughing. (Audience member) Puberty is bad. Sure. But not as bad as: old age puberty! Old age pubescents love peace and quiet, hiking, the word "earlier" and seated pop concerts. Male old age pubescents squeeze their round over-40 bodies into wetsuits and start a kitesurfing course. Or aim for a marathon career. Female old age pubescents like to escape into spirituality and want to "rediscover themselves". They go to yoga classes and walk the Camino de Santiago, they want to spice up their sex life or make jam. Sounds terrifying? It is. But above all very, very funny... A small comfort: old age pubescents are the largest demographic in Europe. You are not alone. Texts: Maxim Leo & Jochen Gutsch Adaptation, contributions: Edi Jäger Audience + Press reviews: ... the premiere of Phase, Hase was great and Edi Jäger simply stunning. An absolute riot. In my opinion, the award-winning bestseller duo Maxim Leo & Jochen Gutsch have created a small masterpiece with Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase. Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase is one of the funniest shows of the year for me. He's back! The hunter of lost humor, the prince of stand-up comedy... the diaphragms were moving again. Laughter was allowed... For two hours he pounded the predominantly over-40 audience with a staccato of punchlines. There was no escape. ... stared at a furious Jäger. What fun. The guests ensured two sold-out shows and experienced a completely unleashed Edi Jäger in top form. In "Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase" there is no quiet minute. ... Jäger fires one humorous situation after another into the auditorium, the punchlines sometimes piling up because there's no more room one after another. The completely overwhelmed veteran trying to control a loud party in his pajamas. The mid-ager who becomes the plaything of the kneading masseur in a Turkish hammam. The wellness-coerced husband who, in a Thai massage cubicle, expecting the young and delicate Pom, instead falls victim to the elephantine and violent Tom. Once again, it is Jäger's triumvirate of talents – facial expressions, gestures, language – that describe the stories and oh-so-fictional experiences of the last-minute man so vividly that one had to be careful not to collapse in laughter in one's seat, although signs of hyperventilation were already audible here and there in the audience. A great Edi Jäger... a literally breathtaking evening and one can rightly claim that no audience has collectively wet themselves so much before. Quod erat demonstrandum! (KUNSTBOX.AT Review, Markus Walch, 28.02.2022) Dear Edi Jäger! ... I would like to thank you beyond measure for this incredibly funny, sooooo true and wonderfully carefree evening. The 5 of us found ourselves in every sentence. We laughed non-stop... and that felt enormously good. Many thanks again for that!!!! .... (Audience member) It was a grandly funny evening. There was an incredible amount of positive feedback. (Organizer Chiemsee)
