
Theater Abtenau is staging an open-air play at the Arlerhof Local History Museum and presenting a classic of folk theatre: DIE DREI DORFHEILIGEN (THE THREE VILLAGE SAINTS), a Bavarian farce by Max Neal and Max Ferner Adaptation and direction: Veronika Pernthaner-Maeke A village in the early 20th century. Things are particularly proper. Mayor Hilgermoser, with the dignitaries Riedlechner and Söllbeck and the new priest, ensures this. The young teacher with his modern views is as much a thorn in their side as the young couples who believe they can simply choose their own partners.
