Abtenauer Rösslmarkt
What's it about?
As every year on the 3rd Friday in September, the traditional "Abtenauer Rösslmarkt" with Noriker and Haflinger foal auction will take place again in 2026 on September 18th at the auction grounds near the valley station of the Abtenau mountain lifts. In recent years, approx. 70 Haflinger and Noriker foals have been brought in. At 10:00 AM, the foals will be presented at the livestock market grounds. Auction start: 11:00 AM. Ample food and drink will be provided for visitors at the auction grounds. The "Noriker Zuchtverein P6 Abtenau-Rußbach" looks forward to numerous visitors at this event and cordially invites you.
