In October, you will again find the popular game specialties such as venison ragout, roe deer roast, and poacher's platter on the Kirchenwirt's menu. Traditionally, these wild dishes are served with red cabbage, dumplings, spaetzle, croquettes, and lingonberry jam. The delicious wild meat from local forests is relatively low in fat, contains little water, and provides valuable protein and minerals.
