In "Am Rande der Müh", the author follows the course of the Mühl rivers through her region of origin, the granite highlands of the Mühlviertel, bordering Bavaria and Southern Bohemia. What emerges is far more than a landscape description: a poetic local history in which natural and social history, geology and dialect, childhood memories and precise observation intertwine.
