Open Stage - Dickenschieder Alphornbläser / Chorgemeinschaft Kirchberg/Nannhausen-Nickweiler The fascination of the natural harmonic series on a simple, 3.65 m long wooden trumpet moved three experienced brass players to play the alphorn. Soft tone production, clean intonation, and rhythmically precise interplay are important goals for these hobby musicians. They strive for the best possible result. However, a harmonious togetherness and the joy of making music together remain crucial. Chorgemeinschaft Kirchberg / Nannhausen-Nickweiler: Since mid-2022, the two choirs have come together to form a fantastic, diverse group with singers from all over the Hunsrück region. The Chorgemeinschaft, with its new choirmaster Michael Hombach, is already looking forward to delighting visitors to the Kirchberg weekly market with their musical contributions on the Open Stage at the market square. Admission to this event is free.
