Exhibition "Klimaladen - what does my consumption have to do with the climate"

Friday 30 October · 09:00Seekirchen am Wallersee · salzburg

What's it about?

The Klimaladen is an interactive exhibition designed for people of all ages - suitable for students from age 10. In five thematic areas, participants become climate experts and learn what is important to live more climate-conscious. They also learn how their own consumption habits influence the daily lives of people in other countries. Background information on consumption and climate can be explored: electronics & digitalization, mobility, nutrition, fashion, energy & circular economy. Analog and digital tools are cleverly combined in the presentation. Easily understandable graphics on the exhibition furniture are supplemented digitally with more in-depth information on smartphones or tablets. Games and tasks are solved manually, supporting the processing of information. Shopping is done via smartphone or tablet. The summary can then be saved for later. The "Habit Tracker" is a handy, pocket-sized, and colorable companion for everyday life. Suitable for all ages as well as students from age 10. Visits are also possible for school classes. Opening hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am-12 pm and 2 pm-6 pm, Thursday 2 pm-6 pm, Friday and Saturday 9 am-12 pm. Registration for school classes: hans.holzinger@sbw.salzburg.at or 0699.11370178. In cooperation with the Climate Alliance Salzburg and the EUREGIO Salzburg – Berchtesgadener Land – Traunstein.
