"Der kleine Tod" is a solo theater piece by Emily Schmeller that deals with mental health. The main character, Margarete, a psychotherapist with her own traumatic past, finds the dog of her suicidal client Vera Toth in front of her practice – with a farewell message. Together with her sister Lee, a former criminal police officer, and the dog Lucky, she embarks on a search for Vera. During this, Margarete's own story is unraveled, especially the suicide of her mother in her childhood. Using black humor, quirky situational comedy, and a lot of dialect, Emily Schmeller plays all roles herself. More information is available on the official event page.
