What's it about?

Silvana Delfino and Franz Schickhuber invite to the opening of the exhibition "Lebensströme – Il battito della natura" (Life Currents – The Beat of Nature) on Sunday, September 27th at 6:00 PM at the House of the Family. The collection of works tells of the silent dialogue between water, light, and life. Each piece captures a fragment of the energy that flows through nature and reminds us that every element is part of a single, continuous life stream. Musically, Maria Pfandl will accompany the vernissage on the harp. The artists and the House of the Family look forward to many interested guests and art lovers. The exhibition is open free of charge from September 28th to November 19th, 2026, during the house's opening hours. More information about the artists: Silvana Delfino, born in 1977 in Montevideo, combines in her artistic work the colors and landscapes of the Rio de la Plata, the picturesque Ligurian coast, and the colorful Upper and Lower Bavarian surroundings. Delfino’s focus is especially on wildlife, alongside buildings and landscapes. Visitors to the exhibition can discover the Burghauser Waldrapp (a type of ibis), colorful birds from the rainforests of South America, and bulls from the Uruguayan pampas. The artist primarily works in acrylics, often treating the surface of her paintings with pigments, sand, and metallic elements such as gold leaf. She emphasizes the power of colors and light in her work. Silvana Delfino is currently an active member of the "Kunstverein Altötting" and the "Kunstverein Inn-Salzach" and regularly participates in exhibitions. Franz Schickhuber was born in 1977 in Simbach am Inn and developed an early passion for photography. His work is characterized by a special sensitivity to light, structure, and atmosphere. With a trained eye for detail, Schickhuber captures moments that often go beyond the visible and convey emotional depth. He prefers working with digital photography. His subjects range from landscapes around his hometown Julbach to experimental series dealing with water, light, movement, and transience. He is especially known for his atmospheric water drop photographs, which create a strong emotional impact through their appearance in milliseconds.
