Chris Boettcher - Baby Boomer
What's it about?
They had a great life, growing up when Germany was doing best. Their world was still rosy and full of optimism, made up of Quelle catalogs and ZDF-Hitparade, bell-bottoms and Pril flowers on the kitchen wall, bathtubs only on Saturdays and once a week meat. Now they can have 7 times meat a day if they want, regularly cruise the world on Aida ships, and are still not satisfied. Or are they? They are about to retire or are already in the middle of it. And besides, they are - of course - to blame for everything!! Who? The Baby Boomers! Chris Boettcher is one of them. He has a lot to tell about his generation. Because never has it been more in the spotlight than today. Who pays their pension? And should they perhaps give up regular trips to Dubai and extensive restaurant visits just because Generation X, Y, and Z want to work only 35 hours a week? Isn’t that unfair? Experience insights into a world where only the prostate makes positive growth curves! Experience the world of Baby Boomers! The author of unforgettable radio comedies like Lothar & Franz (Bayern 3), the former Antenne Bayern morning singer, creator of the Wiesn hit “10 Meter geh’” and internet hits like “In der Pubertät,” explains the beautiful and wondrous world of Baby Boomers. A comedy program about the numerically strongest generation in Germany. They still had to use phone booths and now have TikTok accounts. So, dear comedy fan: do you feel unsettled by modern developments like artificial intelligence? Would you rather indulge again in the good old days, when even rotary phones had fabric covers? Then visit Chris Boettcher’s “Baby Boomer” — on all good comedy and cabaret stages.
