What's it about?

In an engaging hour, the Salzburg Marionette Theatre presents three musical animal stories: - The story of little elephant Babar (based on the children's book by Jean de Brunhoff, music by Francis Poulenc), who flees to a city and enjoys the life of humans. - The story of young bull Ferdinand (based on the children's book by Munro Leaf, music by Alan Ridout), who has different preferences than his combative peers, and a poetic reinterpretation of Saint-Saëns' famous Carnival of the Animals. In German with explanations in English. Duration: 1 hour.
