Ensemble Vokatief: Ein hoch auf Vokatief

What's it about?

Vokatief – Six men, one sound that gets under your skin and lots of humor The Ungenach Cultural Association cordially invites you to a special concert evening: Ensemble Vokatief with their program "ein Hoch auf Vokatief". Vokatief is a male a cappella ensemble. The members met in the mixed Vienna choir "Coro Siamo". In 2014, they appeared for the first time as an independent ensemble and have since developed their shared passion for polyphonic singing. The program features well-known and less-known pop songs, many of which are self-arranged, others inspired by renowned male ensembles such as the King’s Singers, the Wise Guys, or Basta, as well as original compositions. Playful and kitschy, classical and contemplative – and occasionally a little risqué. In short: everything that delights heart and ear. With impressive vocal artistry and charming wit, Vokatief provides a concert experience that touches, provokes thought, and encourages laughter. Look forward to an entertaining concert evening full of musical surprises, humorous moments, and great male voices in all their diversity!
