ÅLMERISCH LANDLERISCH a folk music concert evening with Herbert Pixner | Duo Hornsteiner Kriner | Hecki Trio With the program "Ålmerisch Landlerisch", Herbert Pixner returns to his original musical roots and unites for this exclusive folk music evening the folk singers Toni Hornsteiner and Christoph Kriner from Mittenwald, Bavaria, who were already awarded legendary status during their lifetime, with the "young wild ones" of the traditional folk music scene from Southern Styria and Carinthia: the Hecki Trio. Archaic yodels and Wildschützenlieder meet virtuously interpreted and intelligently arranged polkas, waltzes and Franzès. Thus, Herbert Pixner promises a concert evening without technical frills and away from any show elements! Puristic and authentic. Alpine folk music at its finest.
