What's it about?

In an exhibition titled "Heisszeit" (Hot Age), Kunstforum Salzkammergut addresses a topic that currently directly concerns us all. After the originally planned exhibition "Freude und Farbe" (Joy and Color) in September was cancelled, artists in DIE GALERIE in Gmunden explore heatwaves, climate change, and the diverse effects of current ecological developments. The focus is on both external events – such as wildfires, drought, or other climate-related disasters – as well as their causes, and the personal, societal, and emotional experience of this situation and the creative engagement with it. One can look forward to diverse artistic approaches and perspectives. The "Heisszeit" exhibition begins on Thursday, September 3, with a soft opening from 2 PM.
