With Jumping Jungle, an extraordinary group of young Viennese jazz musicians takes the stage. With joy of playing, talent, and impressive musical maturity, the band gives well-known jazz classics such as Cantaloupe Island, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Chameleon, or Armando's Rumba a fresh, captivating dynamic. Founded by siblings Mena and Xaver Plankensteiner, Jumping Jungle impresses with passion, virtuosity, and plenty of groove. Especially Xaver provides the band's distinctive sound with spectacular solos on keyboard and piano. An energetic concert evening full of creativity and contagious joy of playing! An impressive proof of how lively and exciting the next generation of jazz sounds. Line-up: Mena Plankensteiner – (Flute/Sax/Vocal), Xaver Plankensteiner – (Keyboard), Constantin Woschitz – (Trumpet), Konstantin Lengheimer – (Trombone), Leander Raab – (Bass guitar/Alto Sax), Emil Beinl – (Drums/Percussion), Vroni Wilscher – (Drums/Percussion).
