What's it about?
With Leo Genovese, a Grammy-winning world-class pianist, coming to Raab, who is considered one of the most exciting voices in international jazz. The Argentine has worked for ten years with Esperanza Spalding and has played with greats such as Wayne Shorter, Jack DeJohnette, Herbie Hancock, Joe Lovano, and Terri Lyne Carrington. In 2023, he received a Grammy Award together with Wayne Shorter. In the Paul Zauner Quartet, jazz, South American roots, classical music, and free improvisation merge into energetic music full of surprises. Piano creativity meets the expressive trombone of Paul Zauner and a top-class rhythm duo. World-class jazz with joy of playing, virtuosity, and musical freedom. Line-up: Leo Genovese – (Piano), Paul Zauner – (Trombone), Wolfram Derschmidt – (Bass), Andjelko Stupar – (Drums).
