LIEGEKONZERT with Johannes J. Kronegger
What's it about?
LIEGEKONZERTE – LIGHTNESS. MUSIC THAT CARRIES YOU. A concert experienced not sitting but very relaxed lying down: With his tour "Leichtigkeit" (Lightness), Johannes J. Kronegger invites you to a special live experience where music, calmness, and conscious perception are the focus. While the audience comfortably makes themselves at home on their own mat with a blanket and cushion, the music is created live in the space. Johannes plays on handpan and various instruments from around the world, developing improvised soundscapes that are created anew at each concert. Lying down changes the way music is perceived. Without a stage in the traditional sense and without distractions, each sound gains more space. Eyes can be closed, the body can rest, and for about 90 minutes, there is nothing to do and nothing to achieve—except to listen and consciously experience the moment. Under the current tour theme "Leichtigkeit" (Lightness), Johannes combines live improvised music with moments of presence and a conscious break from everyday life. It is not about a fixed program but about a concert experience that arises directly in the space and in the moment. The lie-down concerts are aimed at people who want to experience music differently—intensely, quietly, and closely. Prior knowledge is not required. More information, tour dates, and tickets: www.liegekonzerte.at Important notes: Bring along: a mat (yoga mat, foam mat, or similar), pillow, and blanket for maximum comfort. Limited space: Since each guest needs plenty of room to lie down, there is no evening box office. Please secure your ticket in advance. Duration: approximately 90 minutes.
