NATURE SHOW - Fascination Gmöser Moor

What's it about?

During our hike through the Gmöser Moor area, we will learn about the geology and composition of this moor. At the moor biotop, we will draw moor water to drink, and in the moor chapel, we will learn about its healing history and have the opportunity for meditation. The giant moor birches and oaks offer themselves as power spots to recharge energy. On the moor circular path, we will walk barefoot for a while and observe the processes within us. Here we will also get to know the typical vegetation. We will learn about the healing effects and uses of the trees and plants and take one or two samples. The inhabitants of the moor, such as fieldfares, marsh warblers, whinchats, nuthatches, or golden orioles, will also be explored. To conclude the tour through the Gmöser Moor, we will explore the peat extraction area. We will learn about the healing effects of the moor, especially for our musculoskeletal system.
