Christoph Schmidsberger asked himself this question while working on his new book "SALZKAMMERGUT Seen entdecken – erwandern – erleben" (SALZKAMMERGUT Discover – Hike – Experience Lakes) published by Anton Pustet Verlag. The search resulted in a snapshot: 92 lakes in the Salzkammergut. With pictures, maps, and stories, the evening leads to well-known shores, hidden waters, old traces, and disappearing lakes — and to the question of what a lake actually is.
