Echo Blasts at Almsee

What's it about?

Every year, from the end of June to the beginning of September, four brass players from the Grünau im Almtal music association delight visitors weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, weather permitting, with their performances at Almsee. From the so-called "Echoplatz´l", they demonstrate their musical skills and enchant listeners with their clearly resounding echo sounds. A special kind of nature, music, and soul enjoyment, especially as the unique ambience - formed by the majestic mountain scenery of the Totes Gebirge and the idyllically embedded, colorfully shimmering Almsee in the valley head within the landscape protection area - puts one in a peculiar mood. Once you arrive at Almsee, head towards Deutsches Haus, and from there, a approximately 10-minute walk leads directly to the Echoplatz´l.
