The market community of Pettenbach and the blood donation service of the Red Cross Upper Austria invite you warmly! Healthy individuals aged 18 to 70 can donate blood, with at least 8 weeks between donations. The health questionnaire to be completed before donating blood and the subsequent confidential discussion with our doctor serve both the safety of our blood products and the safety of blood donors. Please bring an official photo ID and your blood donation card to the donation. The laboratory results will be sent to you approximately 3-4 weeks later, making the blood donation also a small health check. You should have at least a small meal and sufficient fluids in the last 3-4 hours before donating blood and avoid physical exertion after donation. Information on when you are not allowed to donate blood can be found in the attachment.
