Repair-Café Pettenbach

What's it about?

We repair, chat, and exchange ideas together. In the end, all devices are fit again, and we look forward to the next time and a small donation. We repair everything that can be carried with two hands and is used for daily use. The title "Repair-Café" or in German "Reparatur-Café" can be confusing - it is not a coffee house. But to sweeten the waiting time, coffee and cake are still offered by volunteer helpers in our Repair-Café. Since all helpers work voluntarily and for the public good, we are very grateful for the premises provided by the municipality. Anyone who would like to participate or help can contact Heimo Sauer at Brillenkistl or via email at tomjones80@gmx.at. From October 2024, there will be a Repair-Café every 4th Friday of the month from 6 PM to 8 PM in Pettenbach at the former fire station depot in Pettenbach. Exceptions will be announced in good time. This monthly repetition also allows us to complete a repair in two stages. For example, at the first appointment, the fault is found and the spare part is ordered, and at the next RepairCafe, it is then installed together, and everyone is happy about the successful implementation.
