Heinz Marecek & Erwin Steinhauer „Was lachen Sie?“ (Kopie)

What's it about?

The two full-blooded comedians Heinz Marecek and Erwin Steinhauer brought back their successful program "Was lachen Sie?" to the stage in 2025 on the occasion of Heinz Marecek's 80th birthday. The program, which was performed over 120 times across Austria more than 25 years ago and sold out, offers not only the classic double conference – with Steinhauer as the "Gscheitem" (wise guy) and Marecek as the "Blödem" (fool) – but also solo pieces by the two acting legends. The comeback is driven by long-standing stage experience, pointed humor, and a deep appreciation for Vienna's cabaret tradition. Audience can expect an evening that makes them laugh but also provokes thought – an event not to be missed.
