What's it about?

Simply dance. Without steps, choreography, or alcohol. At Ecstatic Dance, you move in a way that feels right for you at the moment. Barefoot, without talking on the dance floor, without anyone watching or judging you. You don't need to be able to do anything or perform. We start together in a circle and get settled first. Then a curated DJ set takes you on a musical journey: calm at the beginning, then increasing rhythm and energy, and finally slowly back to calm. In between, there are short prompts to help you feel your body better. After dancing, there is time to talk and meet people. It is like a community come together, everyone is welcome. Come as you are. The crowd is diverse, from early 20s to late 60s. The atmosphere is calm and respectful, not a party. No one has to participate, no one will be touched. Expression is the opposite of depression. Please bring comfortable clothing and a bottle of water.
