Film culture, from classics to the latest cinematic works, is on the program. High-quality and critical films, whenever possible in original version with German subtitles (OmU), are presented under optimal technical and spatial conditions. Often, directors and topic-specific guests are available for a discussion at Programmkino Wels. The team sees its task as making film culture tangible and conveying ways of seeing while simultaneously addressing the challenges of our time. Great films are offered daily in two digitized cinema halls – the large hall also features analog 35mm cinema technology. Hall 1 welcomes 90 visitors and Hall 2 welcomes 50 visitors.
