Oriental and Eastern music full of vigorous sounds and rhythms will be contrasted with the magic of Steve Reich's minimal music on this evening. At the center of this program is the piece "Spices, Perfumes, Toxins" by the American-Israeli composer and conductor Avner Dorman, in a version for 2 pianos and 2 percussionists performed in German-speaking countries for the first time. Experience the enormous tonal diversity of this work, originally conceived for orchestra and solo percussionist!
