What's it about?

A top-class selection of artists, put together exclusively for Wels, makes this evening a "Lachnacht" (Laughter Night). Niko Formanek will host, sharing with a large portion of Viennese charm what he does best: being a husband. Roger Stein offers captivating musical rogue entertainment, somewhere between comedy songs, singer-songwriter material, and post-romanticism. Isabel Meili has her finger on the pulse of the times and in all the open wounds caused by the zeitgeist – witty, entertaining, and musical. Ole Lehmann started his comedy career over 30 years ago at the Quatsch Comedy Club in Hamburg and is now bringing out his funniest acts again. Severin Groebner, recipient of numerous cabaret awards and regular entertainment correspondent for the Wiener Zeitung and WDR, pauses and awards scores for attitudinal distress.
